ABOUT

Welcome to BSI!

Scouting helps young men and women to develop skills such as community responsibility, leadership, team building, and sportsmanship against the backdrop of outdoor activities. Scouts use their Handbook to learn the basic tenets of scouting, which include the Scout Oath and Scout Law. Additionally, Scouts teach one another, with the more experienced serving as mentors for younger Scouts. Scouting culture instills a high degree of self-motivation and confidence to make good decisions as well as achieve the various goals and milestones set out for Scouts -  be it physical fitness, community service, society, or personal growth.
